Must know tips to avoid pet scams:
1.       Always ask for more than one picture of the pet in various poses. This will help you to establish whether the pet is real or not.
2.       Never ever try to buy a pet from a breeder outside US. Also if a user is posing to deliver pet from another state but is asking for money at a different location (or a different country), avoid it.
3.       Ask for contact details of the person. If he/she provides details from US specially phone number then go further else not. Also ask for the details of the vet the pet is examined by.
4.       When dealing with a breeder ask for the breeder’s registration details. You get it, good get it verified otherwise walk away.
5.       Avoid making any payments via money transfer. Using credit card will help you settle any claims and disputes fast and easily.
6.       Do not deal with any breeder who is pushing things to be carried on in haste. Mostly breeders trying to get rid of pets ASAP are scams mostly.
7.       Take care of the breed, purebreds are always not the best. They have health issues predominantly.
8.       The quality of communication language and email address says a lot about the breeders or adoption service provider.
9.       Mostly people are excited when adopting new pets. This feeling of excitement can lead to get little care free but it can be problematic later on.
